Eligible Rollover Fund (ERF)
Catholic Super has nominated an Eligible Rollover Fund to accept the transfer of benefits of less than $1,000 from the Deferred Benefit Account or in the situation where a Member of the Deferred Benefit Account becomes "lost". A "lost" Member is generally defined as one to whom two required written reports have been issued but not received by the Member as the Fund Office has been unable to trace their whereabouts due to a change of address etc.
An ERF is a fund which has been approved by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to receive and retain benefits for members of superannuation funds. The ERF selected by the Trustee is AUSfund, with contact address:
AUSfund
Australia's Unclaimed Super Fund
PO Box 2468
Kent Town SA 5071
The toll-free number is 1300 361 798
Fax: 1300 366 233
Email: admin@ausfund.net.au
or refer to the AUSfund web site www.ausfund.net.au
Benefits transferred into the AUSfund ERF will remain the property of the member and will accrue interest (net of tax and charges) at a rate declared by AUSfund.
Members will still be able to gain access to their benefit in the same way as if it had remained in Catholic Super. A benefit in AUSfund may be transferred back into Catholic Super if desired.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deferred Account
The Trust Deed for the Fund permits the retention of benefits for those persons who leave the service of a participating employer. An exiting Member's benefit will be automatically transferred to the Deferred Benefit Account pending receipt of final documentation.
An exiting Member can choose to retain his or her benefit in the Deferred Benefit Account, use the benefit to purchase a Catholic Super Allocated Pension or Catholic Super Term Allocated Pension (if at least age 55) or have the Benefit paid in cash or rolled over, subject to Government requirements. Personal contributions may continue to be made to the Fund subject to Government Regulations (contact the Fund Office for details).
All Deferred Benefit Accounts of less than $1,000 on which no contributions have been received for six months or more, are transferred to the Eligible Rollover Fund.
Draw Down Facility:
Members of the Deferred Benefit Account may draw down on their Account Balance in the Fund (just like a Bank Account). However, you should seek advice from your financial adviser before making any draw downs to ensure maximum taxation concessions are obtained.
Refer latest Product Disclosure Statement for more details.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unclaimed Monies
If we cannot locate you and have not transferred your benefit to the ERF (see above), we are required by law to pay your superannuation benefit to the Australian Taxation Office.
If your benefit is paid to the Australian Taxation Office, you will no longer be a member of Catholic Super and will not be entitled to any Catholic Super benefits. This means that your insurance cover will cease.
To avoid falling into this situation, please ensure you keep your address information up-to-date with us.
