Legislation changes From 1 July 2007
Provide your employee's Tax File Number!
You need to make sure you give your super fund (or ensure your super fund has) your employee's Tax File Number (TFN), otherwise:
- members without a TFN may have their super taxed an additional 31.5% and
- their super fund won't be able to accept member contributions from them, which may mean they'll miss out on any super co-contributions they may be eligible for.
